Use requiring written authorization

Without MISPAL’s prior written authorization, images may not be copied or saved for reuse, reproduced, republished, redistributed, edited, cropped into new promotional material, used in advertising or commercial communications, published by media or third-party platforms, used to imply endorsement, included in datasets, used for AI or machine-learning training, facial-recognition or profiling systems, or otherwise exploited outside this website.

People appearing in photographs

Publication of an event photograph does not transfer any rights in a person’s name, image or likeness to third parties. If you appear in a MISPAL photograph and have a concern about its publication, please contact the Secretariat so the request can be reviewed.

Requesting permission

For press, partner, sponsor, corporate, social-media or other image-use requests, email secretariat@mispal.africa and identify the image, intended use and publication channel. Permission must be confirmed in writing before use.

Where a photograph carries a separate photographer or third-party credit, the rights of that credited rights holder also apply.
